This Season's Compost
We have a few different compost mixes this year. Most are pretty similar, but some have manure and some don't. If it doesn't have manure we either used onions/beans/sweet corn as the nitrogen. If it makes a difference for you to have/or not to have a certain ingredient please let us know.
2023 Compost
- All compost has 50 to 70% shredded hemp material/stocks
- Onions
- Sheep/Cow manure
- Sweet corn
- Beans
- Straw
- Chicken manure
- Composted wood chips
We only use straw and hay that have not been sprayed with herbicides or pesticides.
